Why let your child waste the summer months being cooped up indoors watching TV all day? There are so many summer camps out there that will provide your child with endless fun, lots of exercise, and budding friendships. One amazing idea is to enroll your child in a summer dance camp Burlington at Creative Edge Dance Studio.

Depending on the age of your child, there are different groups available. There are 3 specific levels of dance camp that will help to categorize dancers according to their age and skill levels. Level 1 will involve those between the ages of 4 to 6 years; Level 2 will involve children between the ages of 7 to 9 years; and Level 3 will include children between the ages of 10 to 13 years. For the little ones who are in the pre-school age group, there is a special Kinder Camp specifically for these little toddlers.

These camps are generally from 9am to 4pm, with before and after care are also available. All levels include training in a variety of dance genres such as ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical and musical theatre. If you enroll in 2 or more sessions, you are eligible for a 5% discount off your fee.

Schedule for the Summer 2012

Every week has a different and special theme that the children will work on. Each week’s theme is as follows:

• Session 1 – July 9th – July 13th – 3 Little Pigs
• Session 2 – July 16th – July 20th – Goldilocks and the 3 Bears
• Session 3 – July 23rd – July 27th – Little Red Riding Hood
• Session 4 – July 30st – August 3rd – Rapunzel
• Session 5 – August 13th – August 17th – Snow White and 7 the Dwarves
• Session 6 – August 20th – August 24th – Peter Pan

After each session is completed, the kids will be able to perform in a fairy tale performance which is sure to be a hit! They’ll be able to show off their dance skills and musical theatre skills at the same time.
