Programs and Classes

Depending on your schedule and commitment level, there is a program suited just for you. The following 4 programs are offered at Creative Edge Dance Studio:

Open / Drop-In: These dance classes are geared towards those who are looking for little commitment and lots of flexibility. This program is great for those who just want to try out a certain dance style, supplement their current training or for those with past dance experience who are looking to brush up on their dance skills. Classes in this program operate on beginner to advanced levels.

Recreational: This program is a great way for students to learn the technical aspects of a particular dance style, while having loads of fun at the same time. Classes are offered on a more fundamental level as compared to the competitive program, while still teaching students the techniques of dance as well as commitment and teamwork. At the end of the year, students can show off the dance skills they learned in a recital concert.

Street Dance: These dance classes are dedicated to hip hop and street dancers who are looking to develop their technical skills in this genre of dance. Commitment may start off part-time competitive as students prepare to become professionals in this style of dance.

Competitive: This dance program was developed to help serious dancers hone in on their skills and launch them into a possible career as a professional dancer. Full-time commitment is expected, as students are trained to become part of the entertainment business. Those who are interested in being a part of the competitive program must audition first, after which they will compete at several dance competitions throughout the year.
